As I was searching for Mullis family on the web I came across a city named Mullis City in Hillsborough County Florida. We would love to hear from anyone in that area that can enlighten us on how the City got its name and the history behind it. - Joe

Mullis City was the area settled by Robert William Mullis , his wife Mary Elizabeth Lynn and his in laws, the Lynns as they moved from Decatur County, Georgia in 1886. There are still many Mullis decendents living around the area.
