The 60th Georgia Mullis family reunion is being held in Lake Park Georgia at the 4-H Camp. It is being held June 26th through June 29th, 2008.

This branch of Mullises descend from the Anson and Union county Mullises in North Carolina - primarily from Blackstone Mullis who later moved to Georgia from Union County NC.

This reunion is well organized and has had 60 years of experience in throwing such a family shindig. My family will be at this reunion and we hope to see you there.

We went to a Georgia family reunion when I was about 11 or 12 (35 years ago) and had the best time. They know my family, but I don't remember many of them.
I remember the James family we met there who were descendants of Jessie James. We went to visit them after the reunion.
We are from the Georgia Mullis family and moved on to Palatka, FL from there, then onto Mobile, AL where my father (William B. (Sonny) Mullis, Jr.) and his parents William B. (Bill) Mullis and Alma baker Mullis are now buried.
I will try to make it to the next one.

Hi Deborah,

My family had the greatest time. Even though my wife is a very distant relative we were treated like close family. Everyone was great and we plan to go next year. My children had a great time.

It's interesting that there were as many Wilson's as there were Mullises.
