Margaret Mullis Sherrill

MT. HOLLY -- Mrs. Sherrill, 89, of 138 Nims Avenue, died June 4, 2006 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. A native of Mt. Holly, she was a daughter of the late John B. Mullis and Ada Mullis Taylor.

Funeral service is 3:00 PM Tuesday at Carothers Funeral Home of Mt. Holly, with Rev. Raymond Johns officiating. Interment in Pineview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sherrill was retired from textiles, and was a member of Catawba Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Beam of Mt. Holly; grandson, Scott Sherrill and wife, Jennifer, of Mt. Holly; great grandsons, Jordan, Brandon and Trenton Sherrill of Mt. Holly; brother, Kenneth Mullis of Cramerton; and sister, Elise Howard of Charlotte. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Sherrill; brother, Charles Mullis; and sister, Betty Gettis.
