Ricky Dean Mullis, born Oct. 16, 1962 in Key West, Fla., died suddenly April 15, 2006 in Everett. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Jean Mullis, sisters Terri Conklin and Toni Newsome, nephew Shawn Conklin, and loving girlfriend, Brenda Davidson.

Rick liked to share fond memories of his canoeing trips on the Yellowstone River in Montana. He pursued his passion for motorcycle and car racing while living in Washington and North Carolina. He enjoyed the sports both as a driver and as a spectator. Rick had a big heart and would lend a helping hand to anyone. He always has a good story that would leave you with to smile. To Rick, every day was a holiday.
