Emily G. Mullis -EASTMAN - Emily Giddens Mullis, age 76, of Eastman, died Sunday, September 2, 2007.

-Funeral services are scheduled for 11A.M. Tuesday, September 4 in Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Ricky Gilmore officiating, with interment in Mullis Cemetery, Chester. -Mrs. Mullis was a native of Dodge County, member of Chester Baptist Church, a retired seamstress, daughter of the late Benjamin Giddens and Anna Lee Barrs Giddens and widow of Edward Mullis.

-Survivors: two daughters, Joy Pruett of Eastpoint, Florida and Debra Tripp of Eastman; two sons, Sammy Mullis and Raymond E. Mullis, both of Eastman; one sister, Jewel G. Register of Chester; one brother, Julian Giddens of Dudley; nine grandchildren, Joshua, Andrew, Danielle, Jason, Nicole, Rebecca, Rainy, Amanda and Billy; nine great-grandchildren.

-The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, September 3 in Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home. -
