Valdese, N.C. Died September 17, 2007 Mr. Billy Gene Mullis age 54 of Valdese, NC died Monday at his home. Mr. Mullis was born in Ashe County to Clarence and Stella Mae Reeves Mullis. He was preceded in death by his father and step-son, Jonathan Bell IV. Funeral services weree held at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 20, 2007 at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Glen Woodie and Rev. Gene Roten. Burial followed in the Haw Orchard Cemetery. The family received friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 19 at Badger Funeral Home.
Mr.
Mullis is survived by his wife, Selma Osborne Mullis of the home; a
son, Billy Joe Mullis of Lenoir, NC; his mother: Stella Mae Reeves
Mullis of West Jefferson, NC; two brothers, Jerry Mullis of Wilkesboro,
NC and Dale Mullis of Fleetwood, NC; two sisters, Linda Mullis of West
Jefferson, NC and Shirley Tincher of Jefferson, NC; one
step-grandchild, several nieces and nephews, and step- nieces and
