Pauline D. Mullis -EASTMAN - Mrs. Pauline Douglas Mullis, age 88, of Eastman, died Thursday, October 18, 2007 in Dodge County Hospital. -Funeral services are scheduled for 2P.M. Friday, October 19 in Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Robuck Burch and Rev. Charles Robinson officiating, with interment in Bethel Cemetery. -Mrs. Mullis, a Heart of Georgia Nursing Home resident, was born in Dodge County, was a homemaker, member of Zebulon Baptist Church and was daughter of the late Alberta Peacock Douglas and David T. Douglas. She was widow of Leroy Mullis and was preceded in death by a daughter, Joann Hart, grandson, Mike Mullis, two sisters, Willie Bell Almand and Juanita Douglas and two brothers, Inman Douglas and Tillman Douglas. -Survivors: daughter, Linda Mullis Sheffield (Dewayne); son, Jimmy C. Mullis (Elaine); sister, Peggy Fulcher; son-in-law, Roy Hart; four grandchildren, Jennifer Cook (Vance), Justin Sheffield (Nicole), Scott Mullis (Kristy) and Brian Hart (Karen); four great-grandchildren, Kabri Hart, Jackson Brian Hart, Ethan Cook and Madison Mullis. -The family may be contacted at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Dewayne Sheffield, 611 Evergreen Drive, Eastman and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 18. -Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home of Eastman is serving the Mullis family.
