Mae N. Mullis -CHESTER - Mrs. Mae Nicholson Mullis of Chester, GA, 88, passed away October 9, 2007 in Eastman, GA. -Visitation will take place at the Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home in Eastman, GA on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 11A.M. in the Chapel at Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Mullis Cemetery in Chester, GA. Rev. Jack Sheffield will preside over the services. -Mrs. Mullis, a lifelong resident of Dodge County, Ga, retired from the Charles Greenberg Company. After retirement, she enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with her great-grandsons. -Mrs. Mullis was the widow of Nathan F. Mullis, Sr. and was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander Andrew Nicholson and Mary Emma Nicholson; her brothers, James C. Nicholson and Lester Nicholason, and her sisters, Kathleen Adams and Sue Martin. -Survivors include her son, Nathan F. Mullis, Jr. and his wife, Rhoda M. Mullis, Dothan, AL; her sister, Mary White, Gresston, GA; two granddaughters, Crystal Kay (Mullis) Aldrich and her husband, Michael Aldrich, Dothan, AL and Kathy Renee (Mullis) Longworth and her husband, SFC Daniel L. Longworth, Jr. Ft. Polk, LA; and two great-grandsons, Paul Alexandre Aldrich, Dothan, AL and Nicholas LeLand Longworth, Ft. Polk, LA. -Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home is serving the Mullis family.
