Mrs. Mamie Crabb Mullis. Final rites for Mrs.
Mamie Crabb Mullis, 84, will be held tomorrow
at two PM in the Chapel of Townsend Funeral
Home with the Rev. W. A. Page officiating.
Burial will be in Northview Cemetery. Pallbearers
will be Luther, James S., and John R. Crabb,
James R. Mullis, Ronald L. Mullis, and John W.
Tate. The family will receive friends at Townsend
Funeral Home tonight from seven until nine PM.
A lifelong resident of Laurens County, Mrs. Mullis
was the widow of Jim Thomas Mullis and a member
of the Baptist denomination. She died early
yesterday morning in a local nursing home after an
extended illness. Her survivors are a son, A. D.
Mullis, of Gainsville; two daughters, Mrs. Nan
DeVaney, Dublin, and Mrs. E. H. Reichard, of
Fort Wayne, Ind.; a sister Mrs. Nan Lawrence, of
Wylie, Tex.; several grandchildren, great
grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews
inlcuding Mrs. Pearl Williams, of Dublin.
