Published: November 06, 2007 11:32 pm Lois Louise (McPherson) Mullis Mrs. Lois Louise (McPherson) Mullis, 77, of Chatsworth, departed this life Sunday morning, Nov. 4, 2007, at Murray Medical Center. Mrs. Mullis was born July 25, 1930, in Cherokee County, a daughter of the late Belton and Louise Jordan McPherson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jackson Warren Mullis; and sisters, Susie Lifsey, Pearl Lowery and Ann Maddox. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Mike Mullis of Eustis, Fla.; Keith and Glenda Mullis of Macon; Joel and Linda Mullis of Chatsworth; Frank and Judy Mullis of Tunnel Hill; daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Collie McDaniel of Barnesville and Tracy and Adam Wiley of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leroy and Mattie McPherson of Brooks and Grady and Betty McPherson of Barnesville; sisters, Estelle Shirley of Griffin and Jewel Varnadoe of Zebulon; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lois Louise Mullis will be held today at 11 a.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Snyder officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home Tuesday.
