AMANN Flora Ellen Mullis Amann, 83, passed away on February 05, 2008 following a brief illness. She was born August 22, 1924 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mrs. Amann was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Amann is survived by one daughter, Hilda Ann Rogers (Joe C.); 4 grandchildren, Joe Carl Rogers, Jr. (Robin), Paula Baucom, Deborah Castleberry (Donald) and Sherri Atchley (Shawn); 6 great-grandchildren, Joe Carl Rogers III, Arthur J. Rogers, Jonathan Castleberry, Hayley Castleberry, Chloe Atchley and Alexia Atchley. She is survived also by one brother, John Robert Mullis of Ararat, Virginia, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Amann was preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years, Paul Arthur Amann and daughter, Beverly Lee Jackson. Mrs. Amann was a longtime member of Spirit and Truth Church. The family visitation to greet friends will be "today", Thursday, February 7, 2008 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Hardage-Giddens Main Street Funeral Home (4315 Main St.) Jacksonville, FL 32206. The funeral service will be held on Friday, 11:00am, February 8, 2008 at Hardage-Giddens Main St. Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Anthony Cohron officiating.
