Mr. Morris Mullis, 58, of Sharpsburg, Ga., died Wednesday, November 1, 2000.

Mr. Mullis was born November 26, 1941 in Dodge County, Ga. He was construction manager for PetsMart Inc.

The family will receive friends Thursday, Nov. 2 from 6-8 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home in Newnan.

A funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3 at Cornerstone United Methodist Church of Newnan at Thomas Crossroads. The Rev. David Campbell will officiate.

Surviving are his wife, Emily Ellis Vayda Mullis, Sharpsburg; sons, Danny Mullis and Glen Mullis of Eastman, Ga., John Mullis of Newnan and Stephen Mullis of Eastman; daughter, Tracey Mullis of Eastman; brother, Gerald Mullis of Eastman; stepdaughter, Carla Storey of Lake Martin, Ala.; stepson, John Vayda, LaGrange, Ga.; 12 grandchildren.

Infant Leon Cortez Woods died Sunday, October 29, 2000 at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.

A funeral will be held at graveside Friday, Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. in Eastview Cemetery.

Surviving are mother, Valerie Hinton; father, Leon Woods; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Heard (Vivian); paternal grandparents, the late Earnest Woods and Roger Mae Woods; several aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
