CONCORD - Mrs. Ewing, 92, died March 9, 2008, at University Health
Care Center of Concord. Mrs. Ewing was born August 15, 1915 in
Mecklenburg County, a daughter of the late Lawrence Johnson Mullis
and Grace Irene Harrison Mullis. She was a dedicated member of
Northside Baptist Church. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs.
Ewing will be held 11a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008 from the
graveside of Sharon Memorial Park. The family will greet friends
immediately following the graveside. Mrs. Ewing is survived by her
son, Dale Ewing of Concord; four grandchildren, Mike Ewing, Darrell
Ewing, Cheryl Warren and Darien Ewing; six great-grandchildren and
one great-great- grandson; one brother, Herman Mullis of Charlotte.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Ewing in 1989.
Memorials may be made to Northside Baptist Church, 333 Jeremiah
