 Arnold Mullis, 80, of Jonesville Road, died at 6 a.m. Sunday,
January 21, 2001 at his home. He retired in 1985 from Cummins
Engine Co. after 39 years. He was a member of the Diesel Workers
Union.
The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Myers Funeral Service, Reed & Jewell Chapel, on 25th Street with the Rev. Richard Yeaton officiating. Calling will be from 4 – 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Burial will be at Hawcreek Cemetery, north of Hope. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Association or Lukemia Foundation. Mr. Mullis was born in Brown County August 16, 1921, the son of James and Pearl Mullis. He married Lena I. Roberts in Brown County. She died April 6, 1984. Surviving are sons, Arnold Mullis Jr. of Stuart, FL, and Jerry L., Ricky D., and Steve A. Mullis, all of Columbus; a daughter Nina Frazier of Columbus; 13 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Edward Mullis; a daughter, Connie Diane Sullivan; and three brothers. http://www.mem.com/Story.aspx?ID=6080
