Mr. Mullis, 69, of Huntersville, NC, died Saturday, March 18, 2006 at the Brian Center in Mooresville, NC. He was born August 19, 1936 in Cabarrus County to the late Johnny Lee Mullis and Thelma Foster Mullis. He was a US Army Veteran, attended Harding High School, and retired from Consolidated Freight Ways, where he was a long distance truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Johnston Mullis of Huntersville; sons, Chad Everett Mullis and wife Paula of Wingate, NC; Rick Hunter of Iron Station, NC; brother, Robert (Bobby) Mullis of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Cecilia Mullis, Gracie Mullis, Courtney Johnston and Cheyne Titman.


Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at Raymer Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dale Shields officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery. The family will receive friends form 1-2 prior to service.
