Mrs. Toogood, of Charlotte, died Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at her home following a 13-year struggle with the ravages of Alzheimer's Disease.

Private interment was held last Tuesday at Sharon Memorial Park, officiated by Dr. Al Cadenhead, Jr., senior pastor of Providence Baptist Church.


Mrs. Toogood is survived by her husband of 48 years, A.J.; a daughter, Cristin Joy Mann and husband, Jami; and three grandchildren.
